Our History
KBC Specialty Products Inc. was founded by Brendan Cherry, and, in 1993, began operations distributing the famous Koala Kare baby Change Station to restaurants and public washroom operators across Canada. In 1999, after having served as an independent sales rep for KBC for several years, Glen Davis bought the company, as Brendan moved into a corporate role with Koala Kare. Glen brought with him extensive experience in the foodservice industry, having started his career in sales for Royal Doulton China. He grew the company in that direction by adding several top tier food equipment manufacturers to KBC’s portfolio of brands.
In 2015, Scott Davis joined the company, and in 2021 he took over day to day operations. Scott continues to focus on the principals that have always made KBC successful; quality products, cost effective solutions, and exceptional service to our customers.

Association Memberships & Philanthropy
Glen Davis, owner of KBC Specialty Products, is a member of MAFSI (Manufacturers’ Agents Association for the Foodservice Industry). Having served as President of the MAFSI Board in 2010 and as an active board member for the past eight years, Glen plays a key role in MAFSI fundraising activities including annual golf tournaments and walks benefiting Cystic Fibrosis Canada, a national charitable not-for-profit corporation committed to finding a cure for cystic fibrosis (CF). KBC Specialty Products is also proud to support the Toronto Hospital for Sick Kids and the Canadian Naturopathic College, Gilda’s House in Barrie, Ontario, the Heart and Stroke Foundation and The Princess Margaret Hospital.
